Annual Meet Up in Bancroft

on Festival Weekend, in JULY

13 Unique routes under the "Lots to See and Do" button above

If you prefer to ride with a group, register early and meet up at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the HUB. Dave will be leading the route.

The event is an excuse to  meet up, travel and have a good time along the route through some of the most scenic landscape in Ontario, while raising funds for a local charity.  We've carefully selected almost 400 km of the most beautiful roads in our region for you to enjoy, while raising money for a worthwhile cause.

This event actually has little to do with poker, beyond using the hand-rankings to score the event.  You don't need to know a great deal about poker to take part, other than what beats what in the scoring- and even that is done for participants by the organizers once a completed passport is returned.  Part of the proceeds from registration fees will be donated to the local OPP's Kids in Need Charity.

The  Skinny

The meet up is being held on the same weekend as Bancroft's Wheels, Water & Wings Festival which starts Friday July 5th about 5:30 p.m.

The main festival HUB is located at 68 Hastings St. N. in the Town of Bancroft

You can register for the Charity Poker Run at the registration table in the HUB, where you will get your passport.  The cost to enter is $25.  All registration forms must be completed in order for the participant to obtain and official passport and route map.

There's no set start time, you may go at your own speed, over the weekend.  It's a 393 km ride and if you want to qualify, you will need to be back to the HUB not later than 3:30 p.m. on Sunday July 7th, with a completed passport.  Participants will be permitted to draw one card, at random, for each checkpoint they've visited as verified by the organizers.  The winner will be the participant who makes the best five card poker hand at the end of the event.  The winner of the poker run will be announced around 4 p.m. at the Festival HUB.

Don't forget, we shut down main street Bancroft for the Show & Shine on Sunday Afternoon!

Road closure begins at 12:30 p.m.

There's no registration fee for the show & shine.

Free swap space on Sunday, please bring your own table.
